Gas Processing Plant

NEW ENERGY provides the complete Design, Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Supply, installation, and commissioning of Gas processing plants from the wellhead to the pipeline and process unit from the digester to the pipeline. This includes various equipments and packages like slug catchers, KO pots, Amine units, dehydration units, compression systems and sulfur recovery units, H2S monitoring systems, odorization systems, and metering units.

Our extensive experience team in the natural gas fields allows us to translate these end-to-end solutions to our valuable clients. We can also provide plant startup support, troubleshooting, training, and revamp services to increase plant capacity.

Surface Facilities

Our oil field surface facility’s constant of end-to-end solutions begins with conceptual study, engineering, procurement, site construction, commissioning, and handover to the client.

Below is a broad scope of our solution.

  • Wellhead facilities (wellhead hydraulic control panel for X-Mass-tree, purging connection, sample connection, chemical injection, piping assembly, instrument and electrical system, OGM, manifold, de-sand facilities as needed and related Auxiliary facilities, etc.)
  • Pipeline (truck lines and flowlines with pig launcher and receiver station, F.O.C, anticorrosion with internal/external coating and cathodic protection, intermediate valve station, etc.)
  • Booster station (booster pump, booster compressor, metering system, leakage testing and utility station, etc.)
  • Degassing station (water/oil/gas 3-phase separation and pre-dehydration, flare system, vent stack, etc.)
  • Oily water treatment (water injection system, oily water treatment system, diesel oil system, instrument system, domestic water supply and drainage system, fire fighting system and related auxiliary facilities, etc.)
  • Central process facilities (de-sanding system, dehydration system, de-sulfur system, metering system and storage tanks, utility station and related auxiliary facilities, etc.)

Glycol Dehydration Unit

We have the experience and design capabilities to manufacture Gas Dehydration Units of various capacities that are required to perform and meet the requirements of our clients worldwide including the Modular Units. A number of liquids possess the ability to absorb water from gas. Yet, there are very few which meet the criteria for a suitable commercial process.

The required properties of Absorption Liquids are:

  • Highly hygroscopic
  • Do not solidify in a concentrated solution
  • Non corrosive
  • Do not form precipitates with gas constituents
  • Easily regenerated to a high concentration
  • Easily separated
  • Essentially insoluble in liquid hydrocarbons
  • Relatively stable in the presence of sulphur compounds and carbon dioxide

Several glycols come the closest to meeting all of these criteria.

The Glycols used in gas dehydration are:

  • MEG
    often used as hydrate inhibitor
  • DEG
Cheaper, large carry-over loss, less dew point depression
  • TEG
used in almost 100% of glycol dehydrators
  • TREG
more viscous and more expensive, lower vapour pressure
